Signs of The Lunar New Year

1. The saying 年年有余 is prevalent in your home. Seems like we really have 'yu' this year. This poor fish has been swimming upside down for 3 months in my mom's pond.

2. You have a stash of cookies, or more specifically for the Lunar New Year pineapple tarts stock piled in a corner of your house and cannot be eaten until the 1st day of the Lunar New Year

3. Training session begins to ensure that all skills are acquired and brush up before the big day hits: 'pong ah', 'kong ah', 'zi moh sek wu!' sau lui sau lui.

4. When your parents squabble over which decoration fits the house best to ensure the New Year atmosphere is felt, despite celebrating the biggest of the days in our hometown. A random
statement, I think mom has better taste. Lol.
